Laser Declaw

Not everyone will want to have their cat declawed, however there will be medical reasons and other circumstances where this procedure will be necessary.  The laser provides a unique way to minimize the problems associated with this procedure and has your pet back on their feet quicker and with less discomfort than with traditional surgery.

The following pictures show the various steps performed in a laser declaw surgery. The pictures are actually hyperlinks to small videos that you may download and watch the actual surgery taking place.  The videos are in MPEG format so your computer must be able to view this format.  Generally, most Windows 95 and 98 computers have this capability, but be sure to check before taking the time to download the files.  Each of the six files will take from 2 to 6 minutes to download on a 28000 modem so be prepared to wait.  Once finished downloading, your viewer (typically Microsoft Media Player) should start and play the video clip. (Small parts of the video may be played by your viewer during the download process.  To see the video in its entirety, wait till the download is finished before pushing the play button.)
